X Rally Team in the opening round of Brazilian CC Championship
The city of Patos de Minas hosts this weekend the opening round of the Brazilian Cross Country Championship. X Rally Team align three cars in the race, one of them the Ford Ranger X Rally of reigning champions Marcos Baumgart and Kleber Cincea.
Mauro Guedes/Filipe Bianchini make their debut in the Ford Ranger, while Pedro Prado and Joá Bicudo will race the Evo X10 built by the team and the one that led the duo to the National Prototype title in the 2016 Sertões.
"This season will be much harder. The quality of the grid has increased a lot, which is a good challenge for us to put our equipment to the limit. And we like a good fight, so this is going to be an exciting season", says Marcos Baumgart. The Rally Minas Brasil is valid for the first two rounds of the championship, this Saturday and Sunday, each day with a 150-km stage.
