2 in 1: Baumgart/Cincea clinch Brazilian and South American titles
The X Rally Team closed the 2019 season with two more importante achievements to their history after Marcos Baumgart and Kleber Cincea clinched their third Brazilian Cross Country title and the South American title. As for the national championship, it was Marcos and Kleber’s second title in a row.
The duo – one of the most long-standing pairings in rally history – won 12 out of 25 stages in the Brazilian championship and a total of 170 points. In the continental competition, they won with 59 points. “This year’s competitions were in a much higher level. Everyone within the team had to work twice as hard to make things happen. It was fantastic, a dream came true that shows how great this group of people is. This leaves us highly motivated for the upcoming season”, highlighted Marcos.
“We had worked on the construction of our X Rally Rangers, we had developed them, trained, faced great competition and fortunately we achieved the results we expected. I can only be happy”, said Kleber.
The Brazilian standings showed the quality of the word done by X Rally Team and the strengh, toughness, safety, reliability and speed of the X Rally Rangers: all the top-3 place in the standings are occupied by the team’s duos, as Mauro Guedes/Filipe Bianchini finished as runner-ups (134 points) and Michel Terpins/Maykel Justo third (107).
